The Torrington City Council on Tuesday approved 2027 golf rates and two street repair contracts, accepted the city’s financial report for the fiscal year that ended June 30 and took up a series of zoning, utility and airport items.
Two items come with dates residents should know. Golfers who pay for 2027 between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31 can keep this year’s rates, and crack filling begins Monday, Oct. 26, on four streets where residents are being asked not to park on the pavement while crews work.
