As spring slowly starts creeping into Goshen County, more and more activities are scheduled throughout the community. When we discontinued the Weekly Shopper, we also discontinued our free Community Calendar. While losing the Shopper was difficult for all of us to bare, it really left our community with many questions. 

While the Community Calendar is also published in the Torrington Telegram on Fridays, it is not guaranteed there will be enough room in the paper to print the calendar. We still welcome your submissions of events and activities for the Goshen County area. 

When space allows, the calendar will continue to run in our Friday publications when events are submitted. If there is not enough room to run the calendar are a whole, we will publish the newly added events in the paper when possible. 

Many community members check the calendar for new and exciting things to do in our community and just because the Shopper has been discontinued doesn’t mean we can’t help your local organization reach a few more folks with our print. 

We also provide a bit of free advertising in our front window for flyers and posters about your event. You would be surprised how many folks will stop and see what is going on in Goshen County when it’s posted in our window. 

Events can be submitted with our office manager, Ashiley at alang@torringtontelegram.com. She will add the event to the calendar and let the staff know it’s coming up.
