ORDINANCE NO. 1273
AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ENACTING SECTION 13.20.040 OF CHAPTER 13.20, OF THE TORRINGTON MUNICIPAL CODE, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF THE GREEN ENERGY PROGRAM SUBSCRIPTION CONFIRMATION BY THE CITY OF TORRINGTON, WITH THE MUNICIPAL ENERGY AGENCY OF NEBRASKA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TORRINGTON, WYOMING:
Section 1: The City of Torrington hereby finds and declares it to be in the public interest and in the interest of the customers of the City of Torrington electric utility that the City adopt and execute the Green Energy Program Subscription confirmation with the Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska.
Section 2: It is hereby ordered and directed that the City of Torrington, acting through its Mayor and City Clerk, execute the Green Energy Program Subscription Confirmation. A copy of the Subscription Confirmation is available for viewing at City Hall.
Section 3: The City of Torrington, Wyoming does hereby adopt and approve each of the objectives, terms and conditions set forth in the Green Energy Program Subscription Confirmation.
This ordinance was passed and approved by the City Council of the City of Torrington on March 21, 2023. All ordinances are available for viewing Monday through Friday 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. at City Hall located at 436 E 22nd Ave., Torrington, WY.
