NOTICE OF PROPOSED SALE

REQUEST FOR BIDS

Notice is hereby given that Goshen County Construction (CMAR) will now receive sealed bids from Subcontractors and suppliers for labor and materials for The Goshen Care Evergreen Plaza Assisted Living Facility, according to specifications and drawings to be provided.

The Project consists of, but not limited to, a new 30 unit, 28,000 sq ft assisted living facility adjacent to Evergreen Court. The proposed site is located at East D Street and East 20th Ave., in  Torrington, WY. Facility will include living units, food preparation, dining, other community spaces, and physical link to the existing Care facility, as well as parking, sidewalks, and landscaping. The work shall commence no earlier than March 2020, and the project must be complete by October 2021.

Electronic drawings, specifications, and bid packages (available January 22nd) may be obtained without fee or deposit by contacting Goshen County Construction at (307) 575-3929  (gcc@actcom.net) or area Plan Centers. Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. local area time, Thursday, February 13th, 2020. Bids can be mailed to Goshen County Construction at P.O. Box 912 Torrington, WY 82240, or delivered in person to the City of Torrington ( Conestoga Room 160 ) at 436 East 22nd Ave. Torrington, WY 82240.  Bids will be opened and recorded at 2:05 PM that same day in the Conestoga Room, 160.

A pre-bid and site inspection meeting concerning this project will be held on Thursday, January 30th, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. local area time in the City of Torrington Conestoga Room, 160. Attendance is required for MEP bidders.

Per Wyoming Statutes 16-6-102 and 16-6-106, preference is hereby given to certified resident contractors and "materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state."

Goshen County Construction reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or informalities in the bidding process, and are not bound by the lowest bid, but the bid determined to be in the best interest of Goshen County Construction and the Goshen Care Center Joint Powers Board. Submission of a bid constitutes agreement to these terms. A contract will be awarded after the bids have been reviewed by Goshen County Construction and Goshen Care Center Joint Powers Board.
