LAGRANGE – Graveside memorial services for Levi David Trout, 86, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the LaGrange Cemetery with Reverend Bruce McBurney officiating. Levi died October 14, 2021 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado and cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to the Lingle Community Presbyterian Church. Levi was born February 13, 1935 in LaGrange, the son of Benjamin and Cecilia (Fountain) Trout. He served in the US Army from 1957 to 1959 and then returned to LaGrange to farm. He married Jacqueline Thompson and they farmed in the LaGrange area until his retirement when they moved to Lingle. He worked on small engines with his sons during his retirement. He also enjoyed gardening.
Levi is survived by his wife Jacqueline; a son Brian Trout; a daughter Debra Oates; three grandchildren Becky (Noah) Myers, Charlie Oates and Kim Oates; three great grandchildren; Marvin (Jean) Deselm, Larry (Annete) Deselm, John (Marsha) Bigetol; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Gerald L. Trout; a sister Vada; and a brother Bill.
