Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home and friends may send their condolences to the family at www.colyerfuneralhome.com.

She was born April 19, 1931, west of Lingle, and is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Juana Martinez; her maternal grandparents, Selso and Ventura Rodriguez; two brothers, Pete and Manuel Jr; one sister, Nico Hernandez, two infant daughters and a son, Joey Andrew. Inez spent most of her life in Torrington.

As a little girl, she loved going to school and learning how to read and write.

She married the love of her life, Jose Flores, on Sept. 8, 1947, at 16 years old.

She held many jobs to help support her growing family and never lost her love for God, her family, and her church. God gifted her with the Ministry of Hospitality. One would never leave her home hungry or in need. If she had it to give, she would do so.

Inez and Jose have seven children, Linda Valenzuela (Juan); Bobbi James (Mack); Joe Max; Peggy Chavez (Jesus); Mike Flores (Gloria); Jim Flores; and Mandy Hernandez (John).

The greatest legacy of her life is this: 162 family members, including seven children, 35 grandchildren; 94 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren and soon to come five more great-grandchildren.

To God be the glory for a life well lived. Amen.
