OLDTOWN, Idaho – Dorothy “Dottie” Rose Pyle, age 74, passed away Sept. 19, 2022. She was born May 21, 1948, to Bert Leroy Haynes and Georgia Rose Haynes in Torrington. She resided in Fort Laramie on the family farm from birth until her marriage to Danny Ralls on Dec. 24, 1965. They had six children: Ricky, Reena, Rebel, Ryan, Rily and Rawn. They were married for 32 years. After their divorce, she married John David Pyle on April 14, 1998. They were married until his death in 2010.

Dorothy was a very loving, caring, gentle and beautiful woman. Family was very important to her. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was an amazing cook. One of her favorite past times was sharing her delicious pastries, breads, cakes and cookies with friends and family. She loved music, animals, being in nature and she made beautiful and unique crafts. Her faith in Jehovah God and the promises made in the bible were her foundation and her strength. 

Dottie developed health issues in the last several years and suffered greatly in the last two years of her life. 

She is survived by her children: Ricky (Jennifer) Ralls, Reena (Kevin) McCoy, Rebel, Ryan, Rily and Rawn Ralls. Four grandchildren: Trent McCoy (Ericha), Heather (Greg) Krall, Logan Ralls and Chandler Ralls. Four great grandchildren: McKynsie Connor and Karley Krall, and Eliza McCoy. She is also survived by her sister Charlotte Weatheread and nephew Andrew Weatheread. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, sister, three half-brothers and four half-sisters.
