TORRINGTON – To introduce Insurance Producer Mitzi Cawthra to the community, representatives from American National Insurance and Goshen Economic Development hosted a Business After Hours event at 21st & Main from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, April 22.

Cawthra, Josh Jordening and Tim Jordening of American National spent time chatting with community members and answering any questions. Visitor Center Manager Moriah Brist said about 10 people stopped by.

They offered baked goods from Sweet Lou’s Bakery-N-Café, soda and informational materials.

Josh and Tim (father and son) have an office in Scottsbluff, where Tim has been working for 20 years and Josh for about 17.

“We’ve recently noticed that Torrington and Eastern Wyoming could use some of our help,” Josh said. “It’s a place where we can expand our business.”

Cawthra will be focusing on the Torrington area.

“I’m just starting with Tuesday and Thursday,” she said, “but it’s going so well I plan to incorporate Wednesday in there too.”

According to Josh, American National is relatively new to the area, but has been around since 1905. He said, “we offer just about anything you might need,” including auto, home, farm and ranch, life and business insurance.

Cawthra can be contacted at (308)-635-0900 or mitzi.cawthra@american-national.com.
