Torrington’s Denali Yonkee snapped up third place at the 2024 sub-regional qualifiers for the Drive, Chip and Putt national competition hosted by Murphy Creek Golf Course in Aurora, Colorado on August 10. Yonkee competed in the girls’ 7-9-year-old division and punched her ticket to compete at the sub-regionals by placing first at a qualifier in Casper in June. Yonkee took third in Aurora with a cumulative score of 66.
