GOSHEN COUNTY – The Lingle Ft. Laramie, South Goshen and North Platte Valley Conservation District have announced the hazardous waste collection day for 2025. 

According to an announcement from the districts, the collection day will be held on Tuesday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Goshen County Resource Center at 4516 US Highway 26/85 Torrington. 

Items which will be accepted include electronics, oil, large metal items, batteries, cardboard, hazardous waste, fertilizers, pesticides/herbicides, antifreeze, lead or oil-based paint. Tires will be permitted without rims only. 

Latex paint will not be accepted and residents are requested to dry out the remaining paint and put the container in personal dumpsters, the announcement said.
