Warrant issued for absconder

Violent tendencies with ties to community

GOSHEN COUNTY – A recent Facebook post has been circulating in the community of a “Law enforcement only” flyer containing the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institute booking photo of Caleb Levi Beeson.

According to the flyer, Beeson is wanted by the Wyoming Department of Corrections for absconding or breaking the rules and conditions of his parole.

“Caleb Levi Beeson is wanted by the Wyoming Department of Corrections for absconding – probation revocation with original charges of strangulation of [a] household member,” the flyer read. “The warrant is entered into NCIC with nationwide extradition.”

According to the probation and parole board, the warrant was issued some time ago.

“The board of parole did issue a warrant in order of arrest on Caleb Beeson for violation of his parole conditions,” Margaret White, Executive Director of Probation and Parole for the State of Wyoming said. “The principal violation is now absconding. We issued that two weeks ago,” White said looking through the files.

“Board of parole’s records are, for the most part, privileged. Most documents, we cannot disclose. My concern is, is that the order of arrest has certain allegations that involve him not seeking treatment. If I disclose that to you then it would be like disclosing like protected health information,” White explained.

White further explained she had been employed with the board of probation and parole for four years and she would need to further check to see what information, if any, could be released.

“I talked with our attorney general representative and he advised that we should not release the order of arrest because it contains, at this point, unproved allegations, so I will not be able to release that,” White explained. “But I can verify that we issued an order of arrest and entered it in the NCIC on February 5, 2025.”

Beeson has ties to Julesburg, Colorado, Enid, Oklahoma, Pendleton, Indiana and southeastern Wyoming, the Facebook flyer explained.

“Caution should be used as Beeson is a former Wyoming correctional officer and has known violent tendencies,” the Facebook post read.

On June 1, 2021, Beeson was sentenced to serve 4.5 to seven years in prison by Eighth Judicial District Court Judge Patrick Korell. Court records indicate, Beeson initially faced 10 separate counts – three counts of domestic battery, three counts of strangulation of a household member, two counts stalking, one count of blackmail and one count of filing a false police report. Beeson entered into a plea agreement with the state in February 2021. In October 2020, the one count of filing a false police report was dismissed by prosecution.

Beeson is 6’4, 220 pounds Caucasian male with brown hair and green eyes.

“If you have any information on Beeson, or if arrest is made, please contact the Wyoming Information Analysis Team at dci.intel@wyo.gov or the Wyoming Department of Corrections at (307) 777-7469,” the Facebook flyer concludes.
