TORRINGTON – On Tuesday, April 29 the Torrington Police Department responded to a disturbance in town.
“We did respond to the Banner Health Clinic yesterday (Tuesday) morning a little after 10 a.m. on a reported safety concern,” Torrington Chief of Police, Matt Johnson explained via email.
“The information that was initially received was that one of the involved parties might have been armed. Officers worked with the Banner staff to make sure everyone was safe and investigate the issue,” Johnson continued. “The concern was safely resolved and the investigation revealed that there was no weapon involved.”
