WHEATLAND – The Torrington High School golf team wrapped up the 2025 spring season with strong performances at the second invitational hosted by Wheatland on Wednesday, May 14.
The Torrington boys progressed to the No. 2 spot on the team leaderboard, collecting 339 strokes over one round. Team scores were not kept for the girls’ teams with a smaller field competing.
Junior Caleb Kelly led on the boys’ individual leaderboard with an eighth-place finish. Kelly shot 82 strokes in one round.
Wyatt Lynde and junior Specner Booth tied for 10th place with a tally of 84 strokes apiece. Sophomore Mason Unverzagt finished 15th at 89 strokes.
In the girls’ division, freshman Olivia Edmunds clinched bronze with a score of 105 strokes. Junior Grace Kelly came in fourth, totaling 115 strokes, while freshman Logan Dyer placed sixth at 123.
