TORRINGTON – The Torrington High School FBLA chapter will be hosting a car-wash-a-thon at Ms. Lorri’s Carwash from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on June 1 to cover travel expenses for the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida. 

“In order for our local FBLA chapter to cover travel, lodging, meals and entertainment expenses we are completing fundraising opportunities in our local community,” a recent press release said. “In previous years we have held a car-wash-a thon. Cares are invited to come to our carwash, which is scheduled June 1 at Ms. Lorri’s Carwash (by Maverick) from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. to be washed by our chapter members.”

Pledges and donations are how local businesses support the FBLA car-wash-a-thon, according to the release.
