A barricade can be seen on 29th Avenue and Main Street where city crews are tending to a sinkhole. Just before 5 p.m., central dispatch received the call from a passing motorist. According to Torrington Police Chief, Matt Johnson, a barricade has been placed around the hole and crews will be working to patch the area as quickly as they can. Johnson stated the hole is a low impact on traffic in the area however one lane will remain closed until repairs are made.
