A severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, for portions of southwestern Goshen County.

Southwestern Goshen, Central Laramie and Southeastern Platte counties in eastern Wyoming are under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 3:15 p.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018.
At 2:35 p.m., severe thunderstorms capable of producing winds gusting to 60 miles per hour, were indicated on radar along a line from six miles southwest of Chugwater to near Cheyenne. The storms were reportedly moving northeast at 45 miles per hour.
The winds have the potential to damage roofs, siding and trees. It is recommended residents in the path of the storm move to an interior room, away from windows, on the lowest floor of the building.
