FORT LARAMIE – Sandra Lee Gregg, age 78, of Fort Laramie passed away on December 31, 2024, in Beaver City, Nebraska where she had moved recently to be closer to her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Beaver City Manor in Beaver City on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.
Sandy was born on August 4, 1946, in Oxford, Nebraska to Norris Wayne and Lola Catherine (Teeters) Willey. She attended school in both Edison and Arapahoe, Nebraska.
Sandy had two sons, Robbie and Shane. Sandy married Duane Kipp, and along with Robbie and Shane, they lived and worked on the farm in Arapahoe.
In 1981, Sandy moved to Fort Laramie, where she lived and worked for most of her life. There she met and married Jack Gregg in July 2003, the love of her life. They enjoyed a life of adventure and especially love together. Auctions were a great part of Sandy and Jack’s life through the years. She enjoyed old western TV shows and horses.
Sandy loved her Lord, helping people, and she was an independent soul. She was a great proponent of family picnics.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Norris Wayne Willey Jr., her sister Debra Sue Willey, her brother-in-law Larry Payton, and husband Jack Gregg.
She is survived by her sons Robbie and Shane. Grandchildren: Vincent, Ashton, Wyatt, and Tyler. Great Grandchildren: Embyr and Paisley. Sisters Judy Payton, Cheryl (Greg) Chambers, brother Jerry (Lonna) Willey and many nieces and nephews who cared and loved their Aunt Sandy.
