TORRINGTON – Graveside services for Ronald Duane Spaulding, 86, will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the Valley View Cemetery with Pastor Gary Flom officiating.
Ronald was called to be with his wife Carol on March 10, 2025, at his home and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests memorials to be made to Brookstone Health and Hospice in Ron’s name. Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home.
Ronald was born December 18, 1938, in Norfolk, Nebraska to Clyde and Leothia (Amen) Spaulding. He graduated from Lusk High School in 1956 and then attended Bible College in Boise, Idaho. He graduated with a bachelors in theology.
After graduating he became a minister and served the Lord and his people for 25 years. He and his wife Carol shared a life full of love until her passing in 2016. He enjoyed hunting when he was a young man and in his older years he spent time refinishing furniture. He was a proud member of the Riverside Church of Christ and his love for the Lord was immense.
Ronald is survived by his children; Becky Linville of Oregon, Jean (Curt) Solesbee of Kansas and Ron Spaulding of Oregon. Seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters of Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Spaulding, parents Clyde and Leothia Spaulding and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
