TORRINGTON – Rodger Neal Allen, 65, of Torrington, departed this life December 27, 2024.
Funeral services for Rodger will be held at the SONrise Church, 1100 East Valley Road, Torrington, on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 2 p.m. Pastor Brent Mullock to officiate. Interment will be held at the Valley View Cemetery in Torrington. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.colyerfuneralhome.com.
Rodger was born July 8, 1959, to Clayton and Georgia (McClun) Allen. He attended Goshen Hole High school and graduated in 1977. He was united in marriage on October 31, 1987, in Torrington, to Linda Weins and the two were later divorced. Rodger had two sons, Ryan and Tim, whom he raised in Torrington.
Rodger worked as a mechanic in Torrington and spent many years of dedicated service to the Goshen County Unified School District at the Bus Garage. He enjoyed muscle cars and was an avid member of the Scottsbluff Valley Street Rods and Boneyard Gearheads Car Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, Kevin Pittman, and nephew, Michael Pittman.
Those left to mourn Rodger include son, Ryan Allen, Torrington; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Caitlin Allen, Torrington; sister, Sandra Pittman; brother, James (Brenda) Allen of Torrington; grandson, Parker Allen; nieces; Jennifer (Jeff) Branson, Chadron, Sarah Pittman, Torrington, Amy Allen, Laramie, three grandnephews; Ayden, Brayden, Clayton and one grandniece, Raelynn. Many friends and extended family also mourn his passing.
