BAYARD, NEBRASKA – Richard L. Ackerson, 83, formerly of Torrington, passed away at his home in Bayard, Nebraska on February 15, 2025. “Dick” is survived by his wife Cathy, daughters Shelley and Patty, stepdaughters Melissa and Curstin, and 10 grandchildren. Per Richard’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will not be a memorial service.
