Notice is hereby given that the Goshen County School District No. 1 Board of Trustees will be accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Recreation Board for 2024. The Recreation Board directs the annual distribution of the 1 mill for recreation projects throughout the County.
Applicants must be residents of Goshen County with an understanding of the recreational needs of the county; the ability to evaluate requests for the use of funds; be available to meet throughout the year; and work as a committee to satisfy a variety of requests. Terms are appointed for five years.
Applicants should submit a current resume and letter of application detailing interests the mil levy funds should be used for, personal activities/hobbies, and community service. Applications may be dropped off or mailed to: GCSD#1 Recreation Board, 626 West 25th Avenue, Torrington WY 82240 between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday, and noon on Fridays. Deadline: Noon on Friday, January 26, 2024.
