PUBLIC NOTICE

BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of
GOSHEN COUNTY, WYOMING
Tuesday June 20, 2023
The Board of County Commissioners of Goshen County, Wyoming met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 am at the Goshen County Courthouse in the Commissioners’ Chambers with the following members present Chairman Michael McNamee, Vice Chairman Justin Burkart, Commissioner Aaron Walsh and Mary Feagler, County Clerk and Clerk of the Board. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Walsh moved to approve the agenda and the minutes from the June 6th meeting, seconded and passed. The first regulalary schedueled meeting in July will be moved from the 4th of July to the following Tuesday which is the 11th of July. The proposed budget will be presented.
Sheriff Kory Fleenor presented the Sheriff’s report. The earnings report for the month of May is $1,400.00 and earnings for the Commissary is $9,450.70. Commissioner Burkart moved to accept the Sheriff’s report including the Commissary and Earnings reports, seconded and passed.
County Treasurer Leticia Dominguez presented her monthly report and the depository letter. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the report, seconded and passed.
County Clerk Mary Feagler presented the updated warrant report, payroll liability voucher, a voucher from IT to Adobe in the amount of $5,318.00 and an employee bond. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the updated vendor report and approve the payroll liability voucher, the IT voucher and the bond, seconded and passed.        
Library Board member Ellen Creager updated the Commissioners on events at the Library. Commissioner Burkart moved to accept the Library report, seconded and passed.
Amy Smith, University of Wyoming Extension Educator, Agriculture and Natural Resources was present and presented the UW and Extension report. Commissioner Burkart moved to accept the 4-H and Extension report, seconded and passed.
Stephanie Lofink Goshen County Fair manager presented her report. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept  the Fair report.

Peggy Holmstrand attended the meeting and spoke about why she desired to serve on the Goshen Care Center Joint Powers Board. Commissioner Walsh moved to appoint her to the position on the Care Center Joint Powers Board, seconded and passed. One board position remains to be filled.
The County Clerk Mary Feagler presented necessary budget amendments to account for unanticipated income and expenses. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the amendments as submitted, seconded and passed. The amendments are as follows:

The Commission adjourned at 10:05 am. The next regular meeting will be July 11th, 2023, due to the first Tuesday in July being the 4th of July holiday, at the usual place and time. Per Wyo.
