BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of
GOSHEN COUNTY, WYOMING
    Tuesday March 2, 2021
The Board of County Commissioners of Goshen County, Wyoming met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 am at the Goshen County Courthouse in the Commissioners Chambers with the following members present Chairman John Ellis, Vice Chairman Cody Cox, Justin Burkart Commissioner and Cindy Kenyon, County Clerk and Clerk of the Board. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the agenda and minutes of the last meeting, seconded and passed.

The Road and Bridge report was accepted from County Surveyor Bob Taylor and County Planner Gary Childs. The County Surveyor presented the FAF North Subdivision plat for review. County Planner Gary Childs reported the subdivision has passed the planning commission process with a do-pass recommendation. Commissioner Cox moved to approve the FAF North Subdivision as presented, seconded and passed. Next the P & C Miller Subdivision plat was presented. County Planner Gary Childs reported the subdivision has passed the planning commission process with a do-pass recommendation. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the P & C Miller Subdivision as presented, seconded and passed. The CR Miles Subdivision was presented for preliminary review of the sketch plan. The Stamm Subdivision 2nd Filing Vacation and Replat was also presented for preliminary review of the sketch plan. Resident Gretchen Wollert attended the meeting to discuss increased traffic on the road where she lives. Ms. Wollert reported a great increase in truck traffic and fast moving traffic. Commissioner Cox moved to accept the road and bridge report, seconded and passed.
The Clerk of District Court earnings report in the amount of $2402.27, Sheriff $1395.00; and County Clerk $14752.50. Commissioner Burkart moved to accept the earnings reports, seconded and passed.
The County Clerk presented the warrants for approval. The County Clerk presented two employee bonds. Commissioner Cox moved to approve the employee bonds, seconded and passed. Commissioner Cox moved to accept the Clerk’s report, seconded and passed. The Commissioners reviewed Resolution 2021-02 a Resolution Appointing a Special Prosecutor for the County Attorney’s Office. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve Resolution 2021-02 as presented, seconded and passed. Commissioner Cox moved to approve an employee request to utilize 80 hours from employee sick bank, seconded and passed. Commissioner Cox moved to accept the County Clerks report, seconded and passed.
Lynette Saucedo presented the Comprehensive Community Coalition agreement for July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2022. The purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding is to outline the responsibilities of the County and the Coalition in relation to the Wyoming Department of Health Community Prevention grant. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the Memorandum of Understanding as presented, seconded and passed.
The Commission adjourned at 9:50 am. The next regular meeting will be Tuesday March 16, 2021 at the usual place and time. (approved for publication)
