BAYARD, Neb. – The Nebraska State Historical Society is announcing the Sunday Afternoon at the Rock spring speaker series at Chimney Rock. These historical and cultural programs will run six consecutive Sundays from Feb. 18 through March 25.
The series season launches with Emily Hauck on Feb. 18 with Then and Now: Travel and Transportation. On Feb. 25, Loren Pospisil will talk about other Chimney Rocks with Can We Take The Elevator To The Top?
Jack Whittier will follow his ancestors’ treks in The Mormon Trail and What it Means Today on March 4. The following week, on March 11, Floyd Smith will talk about your ancestors in Introduction to Genealogy.
