TORRINGTON – Paula Marie Arnold, age 75, of Torrington, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
Paula was known in Torrington, Wyoming through her contributions to liturgical music in the Catholic, Baptist, and Presbyterian churches and as a lover of books and culture.
She was a regular patron of the EWC and Torrington public libraries.
Paula was born September 5, 1948 in Kearney, Nebraska and graduated from St. Patrick’s High in North Platte, Nebraska. Paula graduated from Bellarmine-Urseline College in Louisville, Kentucky with degrees in Music.
Paula’s career began with AT&T/Southern Bell. After retiring Paula returned to Nebraska before settling in Torrington in 1994. Paula was employed by EWC most notably as the housing director. Paula was later employed by St. Joseph’s Children’s Home. She volunteered at the friends of the Goshen County Library, Valley Christian School, and local choirs.
Paula was preceded in death by her father Darrell E. Arnold, brothers Fredrick and Dennis as well as sister Marilyn (Keith) Walters.
She is survived by her mother, Irene Arnold; brothers Jim (Debbie), Matt and Darrell (Sarah); sisters LeAnne Arnold, Monica (Matthew) Osinski and Delores (Lori) Parr and many nieces and nephews.
Mass service will be held at St Rose of Lima in Torrington on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. with Father Ray Moss officiating. A light luncheon will follow at the church fellowship hall.
