TORRINGTON – The Torrington Farmers’ Market kicked off its 2017 season with a bang on Thursday – and board member Caleb Carter only expects the weekly event to grow.
“We were pretty happy with it,” Carter said. “We had a really good showing. A really good, steady flow.”
A total of 10 vendors offered a wide variety of homemade products, including soap, honey, hot sauce, tortillas, baskets, rugs, baked goods, as well as fresh produce including kale, lettuce, radishes, snap peas, green beans
and cabbage.
