TORRINGTON – It will be a day of music and fun on Saturday, Nov. 10, during the annual WyoRing handbell gathering at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington.
Handbell ringers from around eastern Wyoming and western Nebraska will gather at the school during the day under the direction of several conductors, all in preparation for a free community concert, scheduled for 3 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium at EWC.
Willeke will direct several selections with the mass bell choir, along with Ron and Joan Swim of Cheyenne, who will also be working with the group.
“We love playing handbells and enjoy this opportunity to share our love of this unique musical artform with the community,” said Diona Savoy-McDaniels, a member of the local bell choirs and organizer of the WyoRing event.
