TORRINGTON – A grant from the Goshen County Rec Board funded a new scoreboard installed last week by Tom Grubbs and Tom McIntosh at Jirdon Park.

Grubbs serves as the vice president of the Torrington Thunder softball board and coaches the Thunder 16U team. He thanked the City of Torrington for digging the post holes, along with Bob’s Roofing and Repair and Moorehouse Landscaping for supplying equipment. 

The scoreboard is expected to be operational ub the coming weeks when electrical parts arrive from Laramie.
