GLENDALE – Mary Ann (Page) Morris went to be with her Lord and Savior January 9, 2024. She was born January 27, 1935, in Decatur, Nebraska to Clarence and Jessie (McCluskey) Page.  There were three older siblings, two sisters, Nona and Louella, and one brother, Clarence Page, Jr. After she graduated from high school, some of the family moved to Torrington where she worked at the Outer Inn. While working there, she met Anthony Morris (Amp). After only two dates, they both knew they were in love, and asked Mary Ann’s dad to give her permission to get married as she was underage. Amp and Mary Ann were devoted to each other 71 years as of September 1, 2023. Together they had five children, Nancy (Brad) Pollard, Grand Junction, Alan (Diane) Morris, Prescott Valley, Arizona, Kathy (Rodney) Terrell, Angora, Nebraska, Mike (Libby) Morris, Sheridan, and Judy (Rick) Stephenson, Gilbert, Arizona.

Mary Ann loved to write and receive letters. She and her sister Louella Young would take turns writing to their brother Junior each week. She also wrote to her children, and later her grandchildren. She loved hearing about the events of their lives. She and Amp would share a devotion each morning, and then pray for each member of the family. She sent birthday cards until she was unable to do so. Her church family was equally important. She taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and joined the women’s group.

She leaves behind her husband, Amp, 5 children, their spouses, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, brother, Junior, and many nieces and nephews.
