SCOTTSBLUFF – Martha Sandra (Sandy) Johnson Feagler was born on October 23, 1938, in Cheyenne. She passed away in Torrington, on April 2, 2025.
Sandy grew up in Cheyenne and moved to Laramie in 1945. She graduated from Laramie High School in 1957. She attended nursing school in New Orleans. Her nursing career started at the VA in Cheyenne in 1961 and continued in Scottsbluff, finally retiring from the hospital in Torrington in 1998.
Sandy met the love of her life, David Feagler, in 1961, at the VA in Cheyenne. They were married on October 21, 1962. Their first son, Michael, was born in 1963. Their second son, Craig, was born in 1966 and Dale, their third son, was born in 1969.
Sandy and Dave lived in Cheyenne, Scottsbluff and Torrington. Sandy enjoyed family and traveling with her sister and niece. After retirement, Dave and Sandy traveled in their RV and watching the Rockies and Broncos.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband Dave. Three sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Kathy of Lincoln, Craig and LaDonna of Torrington and Dale and Lori of Rock Springs. Three granddaughters, Ariel of California, Audrey and Alyssa of Rock Springs and great granddaughter, Aurora of California and many nieces and nephews.
Grave side services will be held on April 18, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers or cards, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s unit and the Community Hospital in Torrington.
