All the teams participating in the No. 2 District Little League Tournament were introduced during the opening ceremonies on Monday evening at the Torrington Sports Complex. Both Torrington All-Star teams were victorious in their tournament openers. The 9-and-10-year-old team overcame an early 3-0 deficit to defeat Gillette 12-9, while the 11-and-12-year-old team run-ruled Douglas 17-0 in three innings. The tournament runs through Saturday.
