GOSHEN COUNTY – LifeWise Academy in Lingle, Wyoming, will offer classes this spring to Lingle-Fort Laramie students in kindergarten to fifth grades. Students will travel from Lingle-Fort Laramie Elementary to North Hills Baptist Church to receive Bible-based character education. LifeWise lessons will be part of the school’s special period toward the end of the school day.
“With the supportive community, we will be able to offer LifeWise classes to Lingle-Fort Laramie students in grades K–5,” said Joseph Randolph, LifeWise Academy Goshen County Director. “We look forward to seeing how this program will impact our students and unite our county. Our community continues to come together to make this possible, and we’re confident this collaboration will continue as the program grows.”
As it stands, LifeWise is looking for volunteers to serve on the board and work in the classroom. Apply to join the team and find other ways to get involved at lifewise.org/goshen1wy.
Randolph added, “I also want to thank everyone who has partnered with LifeWise Academy Goshen County. We could not provide this program to our students without your generous support.”
Students learn the Bible chronologically, with each lesson relating a Bible passage to a relevant character trait that students are encouraged to practice in their families and communities. The program will help strengthen students’ character development and mental health and support educators’ efforts in building strong students.
LifeWise Academy, based in Hilliard, Ohio, is a released time religious instruction program providing Bible-based character education to public school students. With parent permission, students are released from school for one hour per week to attend off-campus classes.
