A solid day of running, jumping and throwing culminated in both the Lingle-Fort Laramie Lady Doggers and Doggers capturing fourth place out of 13 teams at the Bayard CD Invitational on March 28.
The LFL boys' placed fourth with 56 team points while the Lady Doggers secured fourth with 49 team points.
Junior Brody Roberts garnered gold in both the boys' 400-meters, at 53.22 seconds, and the 800-meters, at 2:06.15. Sophomore Sullivan Wilson won the boys' 1600-meters by nearly 30 seconds, clocking in at 4:50.32.
In girls' events, sophomore Jordynn Speckner clinched first place in the 800-meters, timing in at 2:36.24. Junior Jada Kaufman snagged gold in the finals for the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.40 seconds.
