BURNS – The Lingle-Fort Laramie boys’ basketball team exacted their revenge over Burns for a loss earlier this season, holding the Broncs to 19 points in a 36-19 win on the road Friday.
Ty Mueller led the Doggers in scoring and he was the only one in double-figures, racking up 13 points. He shot 5-of-7 from inside the arc and added a three-pointer. Mueller chipped in two rebounds, three assists and a team-high three steals to his stat line.
Seniors Justice Madayag and Taylor Wagner were the second and third leading scorers for LFL. Madayag accounted for seven points, a team-high 10 rebounds, three assists and a steal. Wagner contributed six points, three boards, an assist and two steals. Garrett Cooper and Brandon Hill each amassed four points for LFL.
The Doggers shot 47 percent from the field, but only 14 percent from behind the arc. They shot better from the free-throw line (5-of-6) than the Broncs did (5-of-7).
