GILLETTE – The Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) Lancers came up short against Gillette College, 120-71, Saturday.
“We went into (the game against Gillette) with our two big guys out – Jules Teboul with an ankle and Khayree Rashed with an illness,” coach Tom Andersen said. “Six minutes into the game, we lost M.J. Binford with a dislocated finger and we were down two at that point. Gillette wore us down with their size and athleticism.”
Five Lancers scored in double digits, led by Micah Glover with 16. Makhiah Tarver netted 12 points, Nick KwoKam Ngomo 11 and 10 apiece by Rodrigo Sanchez and Henos Fitwi.
