Guernsey kept the opening set close early. After a serving error by the Lady Cyclones, cut their lead to 9-8, and it proved to be the closest the Lady Vikings came to seeing the lead the first set.

In the second set, the home team jumped on Southeast early. Trailing 4-1, the Lady Cyclones called a timeout. Coming out of the break, Southeast scored seven of the next nine points to take an 8-6 lead.
The Lady Vikings tied the game at nine, but the Lady Cyclones scored 16 of the next 20 points to close out the set and take a 2-0 match lead.
In the third set, a block by junior Brooklyn Leithead gave Southeast a 1-0 lead, and the Lady Cyclones held the lead until 6-5. Guernsey tied the set at six and an attack error by Southeast handed the lead to the Lady Vikings. Guernsey never trailed again for the remainder of the set.
In the fourth set, the Lady Cyclones used an 8-0 run to lift them to the set and match win.
Tied at five, Llewellyn’s kill sparked the run as Southeast pulled away for the 15-point set win.
