TORRINGTON – Graveside services for June Ledea Christina Margaret Conrad, 88, of Carroll, Iowa will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Fort Laramie Cemetery. June passed away peacefully on April 28, 2023. Following the service there will be a brunch at 148 Pebble Lane in Torrington. The Colyer Funeral Home assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
June was born on June 8, 1934 in Carroll, Iowa to Paul and Verna (Embree) Conrad. She was a devoted mother who loved her children with all her heart. She is survived by her children; Rita (Justin), Pauline, Cindy (Tom) and Shane (Brenda). She is also survived by her sister Barbara Hennrikus and her children. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Paul Burd.
June treasured her time spent with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed being surrounded by them and shared many happy memories. In her free time, June would often travel to Deadwood to play the slots and loved playing bingo with her friends.
June will be remembered for her love of life and her kind and caring nature towards others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
