GOSHEN COUNTY – The Goshen County School Board of Trustees will be seeing a few new faces as the race for six open seats finally came to an end late Tuesday evening. The heated head-to-head battle brought forth 16 total candidates which appeared on the 2024 General Election Ballot for Goshen County. The unofficial numbers were counted and reviewed just after 7 p.m. as area precincts closed. For the four-year term, Kate Steinbock, Kelly Meeboer Strampe, Tony Goulart and Valerie Lamb Sharp are heading to office in January while Lena Moeller will be returning for another term. For the two-year board of trustee term Dylan Hager will be returning to office.
There were 6,609 registered voters, 6,214 ballots cast and one blank ballot cast.
