Goshen County represents at CNFR
Yoder’s Haiden Thompson rounds a barrel in the first go-round at the CNFR in Casper last week. Thompson, riding for Gillette College, competed in goat tying and barrel racing. She placed third overall in goat tying with an average score of 26.6 seconds. Thompson garnered first place in the short go-round in the event with a time of 6.2 seconds.

Eastern Wyoming College sophomore RaeLee Caldwell, a Gillette native, competes in goat tying on the first day of the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper from June 9-10. Caldwell represented EWC at the event and finished 23rd overall in goat tying with an average score of 22.8 seconds. Caldwell posted a timeof 8.5 seconds in the first go-round, followed by 7.1 seconds in the second and 7.2 seconds in the third.
