TORRINGTON – The Goshen County Library is excited to announce the launch of a new Makerspace area, made possible through a generous grant from the Carol McMurry Library Endowment through the Wyoming Community Foundation. This initiative aims to foster innovation and creativity among community members by providing access to cutting-edge technology and educational resources.

The Makerspace area will feature state-of-the-art equipment, including a 3D printer, Cricut, and sublimation printer. These tools will empower individuals of all ages to explore their creative talents and engage in hands-on learning experiences.

“We are thrilled to introduce the Makerspace at Goshen County Library,” said Cristine Braddy, Director of the Library. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting local creativity and entrepreneurship. We believe this space will be a hub for learning, collaboration, and innovation within our community.”

The library has long been dedicated to providing diverse educational opportunities, and the addition of the Makerspace is another step forward in fulfilling this mission. The library invites residents to participate and discover new skills and interests through workshops, classes, and open-access sessions.

To learn more about the Makerspace and upcoming programming, community members are encouraged to visit goshencountylibrary.org. We look forward to hosting an open house when the project is complete.
