Goshen County celebrates the spookiest time of the year

GOSHEN COUNTY – Whether you’re looking to jump out of your skin, take the kids out in their costumes, or want to join in the Halloween spirit with the community, there are many events happening around the area. Don’t ghost – for tricks and treats, check out these local events:

Family Fun Costume Party – October 26 at 5 p.m. – Hosted by and located at the Torrington Moose Lodge, come dressed in your best costume to win prizes. 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for kids, adult costume contest at 8 p.m.

Lingle Fire Department Haunted House – October 30 through November 1, 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. Come to jump out of your skin! Donations are accepted. At the Lingle Fire Hall, 216 W. 3rd Street in Lingle.

Pumpkin Walk – October 31 at 3:30 – 5 p.m. Goshen County Library and All Saints’ Episcopal Church are hosting Trick and Treating for kids 5 and under. Start at 26th and Main and move through the Pumpkin Walk.

Lingle Ft. Laramie Trunk or Treat – October 31 from 5 – 7 p.m. Hosted by the LFL Booster Club at the LFL Elementary Parking Log. Prizes awarded for the best decorated trunk for both an individual class and community member. 

Torrington Trunk or Treat – October 31 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. Go Goshen is hosting the annual Trunk or Treat supported by many community organizations and members. The event will have two entrances this year – one at 23rd and Main moving south, and one at 19th and Main moving north.

Evergreen Trick or Treat – October 31 from 4 – 5 p.m. Held at Evergreen Assisted Living, a parade of costumes with fun and goodies!
