Two men are dead in the aftermath of a two-vehicle crash Sunday near Silvertip south of Torrington. According to reports, Neil Newman, 67, of Torrington, was reportedly southbound early Sunday afternoon, towing a trailer behind his pickup, when he collided with a northbound car, driven by Austin Walton, 22, of Tennessee. Walton was pronounced dead at the scene. Newman was taken to Community Hospital in Torrington, where he later died of his injuries. Repeated calls and emails to Wyoming Highway Patrol for further details of the accident were not returned. The accident remains under investigation.
