TORRINGTON – Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) will honor its men’s golf team for winning the Region IX championship with a special celebration on February 15 during halftime between the men’s and women’s basketball games.

As part of the festivities, the team will take center court to be recognized for their achievement, with the Region IX championship banner proudly displayed. There may also be a brief address by Head Coach Bill Engel or the game announcer to highlight the team’s success.

Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to meet the championship-winning golfers and receive signed team posters during the event.

“We are incredibly proud of our men’s golf team for their hard work and dedication this season,” golf coach Zach Smith said. “This championship is a testament to their perseverance and team spirit.”

Eastern Wyoming College encourages students, faculty, and community members to attend and celebrate this outstanding accomplishment.

The Lady Lancers play Laramie County Community College on Saturday, February 15 at 2 p.m. The men are scheduled to tip off at 4 p.m.
