7:37 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident on East Valley Road. Two vehicles, no injuries were reported involving a Ford expedition and Chevy vehicle and were blocking the road. Disposition: completed.

8:48 a.m. – Community contact on East 3rd Street in Lingle. Officer initiated contact to check in with the community. Disposition: completed.

8:54 a.m. – Assist the public on West E Street. Officer initiated contact – general lockdown. Disposition: completed.

12:05 p.m. – Motorists assist at the intersection of Road 50 and Road 19. Officers helped a driver in a Ford 250 who got stuck afterign turning left off of Road 50 onto Road 19. Disposition: completed.

12:46 p.m. – Larceny on West 20th Avenue. Suspect reportedly stole bubble gum, the caller stated it was not the first time and the caller emailed a video to law enforcement. Disposition: completed.

12:51 p.m. – Hazardous traffic on U.S. Highway 26/85, in Torrington. Officers reported total white-out conditions from Silvertip to Torrington on US-85. Disposition: completed.

1:45 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances on College Drive. Caller is an apartment manager and was going through an apartment and found some drug paraphernalia, met officers at the office. Disposition: report required.

2:42 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances on East Valley Road. An individual was very intoxicated and starting to get belligerent. The subject was described wearing a black coat and black cap. The caller stated the person drove there and was trying to find a ride home. Disposition: person arrested; physical and citation issued.

3:12 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances on East 18th Avenue. Caller advised a person was hired to come help load a Uhaul the day before and while there broke some of their stuff. The caller paid the individual a partial amount and reported the individual was now threatening via text messages and kept driving past the residence. The caller stated they offered to pay more but the individual was refusing to pick up the money. Disposition: completed.

9:23 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances at Paw Spa Boarding and Grooming on Industrial Park Avenue. Caller stated a person threatened to harm themselves. Disposition: report required.

11:20 a.m. – Assault on East 22nd Avenue. Caller reported an assault in Torrington. Disposition: Report required. 

11:53 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances on West C Street. Caller reported suspicious circumstances possibly involving drugs. Disposition: completed.

12:09 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident on West C Street. Caller reported some backed into another person and drove off. The caller reported they took a picture of the license plate. Disposition: Report required.

2:41 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances at Edward Jones and Company on Main Street in Torrington. Caller stated they had a contract to purchase a house. Caller stated other individuals found out about the situation and were upset. Caller reported the other individuals were harassing them at work by showing up and yelling or cursing at the caller. 12:41 a.m. – Open door or window report on East 21st Avenue in Torrington. Caller reported an open door/window on the east side of the road. Disposition: completed.

5:38 a.m. – Welfare check on Haines Street. Caller stated an individual messaged them on Facebook and stated they don’t want to be here anymore and thinks the individual may be on drugs. Disposition: completed.

7:59 a.m. – Motorists assist on U.S. Highway 85. Caller reported a car slid off the road and was stuck in the ditch on the east side of the highway in a small red Ford. No injuries were reported. Disposition: completed.

8:11 a.m. – Alarm on Campbell Drive. The dispatch center received multiple panic alarm button activations. Disposition: completed.

7:55 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle on Main Street in Torrington. Officers reported a suspicious vehicle described as a brown truck sitting in the street with no one around. Disposition: completed.

10:14 a.m. – Welfare check on Jim Bridger Avenue. Caller stated they have not been able to make contact with their parents for about a week. The caller said their parents are hard of hearing and don’t keep track of things. Disposition: completed.

10:31 a.m. – Suspicion vehicle on West C Street. Caller reported a white Ford Ranger parked and running with what looks like someone sleeping in the vehicle. Disposition: report required.

9:16 a.m. – Assist the public on Road 144. Caller stated they have been stuck in their house for 12 days and cannot get out of the driveway due to being in a wheelchair. The caller stated they have not been able to get to doctors appointments, have not been able to get meds or other needs. The caller advised they contacted the county but was given various excuses for not plowing the area. The caller stated the county blade the road but piled all the snow in front of the caller’s driveway. The caller wanted to know what their options were with the county. Disposition: completed.

10:03 a.m. – Assist the public on the Union Pacific Railroad. Caller reported the train going southbound had flames coming out of its tacks on the engine. Disposition: completed.

10:53 a.m. – Suspicious person on East 20th Avenue and East L Street. Caller reported a person walking in the streets and appeared to be under the influence. The person was described as wearing a dark blue sweater and khaki pants. Disposition: completed.

11:22 a.m. – Vandalism at Lancer Hall on West C Street. Caller reported vandalism of their car. Someone stole the caller’s tail lights as well as drew graphic things on the car. The vehicle was described as a 2008 black Dodge pickup. Disposition: report required.
