07:43 – Assist the public – Occurred on E 22nd Ave. RP found a bag with some items in it that include RPs names and some things that could be tied to a serious crime/RP advised that RP spoke to an officer with the PD and at the sheriff’s office yesterday and no one will do anything with it so now RP wishes to speak to a judge. Disposition: completed.

08:25 – Lost property – Occurred on E C St. individual stopped by RP’s house on the way out of town thinking they had lost wedding rings and a ring that belonged to grandparents at RP’s house/RP advised that if someone turns in some rings, they may belong to individual. Disposition: unable to complete incident.

08:38 – Animal call – Occurred on US Highway 26. Middlesworth sign on hwy 26/there is a border collie/shepherd mix/put caller on hold to answer a second call and RP disconnected. Disposition: completed.

08:50 – Municipal, district, circuit – Occurred on E 22nd Ave. bailiff needed at 9 a.m. for court. Disposition: unable to complete incident. 

08:55 – Motor vehicle accident – Occurred on McKenna Rd. ran off the road/RP advised RP is not injured but car hit a fence/RP in a Toyota crown on the side of the road. Disposition: report required.

09:35 – Welfare check – Occurred on E 3RD Ave. requesting welfare check individual has called vet clinic five times in the last hour requesting they come pick up RP and take RP and the dogs to the vet clinic for a haircut and to be checked out/RP advised that individual has attempted to contact both children, but they are not responding to calls or text. Disposition: completed.

09:59 – Traffic complaints; speed, reckless etc. – Occurred on E C St. Yesterday afternoon yellow late model corvette speeding with loud exhaust in area of high school on W C St./this morning RP located vehicle at address and individual came out and started it and then made a U-turn in the middle of the street and took off at a high rate of speed. Disposition: gone on arrival.

RP advised has guardianship of child/took off with an individual from Torrington who lives in a camper child is 27 years old but mentally is not/RP advised they have all the paperwork for the guardianship/RP advised that RP has not reported it to Lusk PD because every time they do, they get told it’s a civil matter.
