TORRINGTON – Local middle and high school basketball players looking to elevate their game this summer are invited to take part in the Elite Lancer Workouts, a special skills enhancement program led by Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) men’s and women’s basketball coaches Bill Engel and Tim Larsen.

This initiative is designed to help athletes improve their basketball fundamentals, sharpen their competitive edge and prepare for the upcoming season with professional level guidance.

Workouts will take place at the EWC Gym on June 10–14, June 23 and 26, June 30–July 3 and July 8–10. Participants may choose from one of three time slots each day: 10 to 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to noon or noon to 1 p.m.

Cost for the program is $280 for all 14 sessions, $154 for 7 sessions or $25 per session for fewer than seven sessions.

Full program details are available through the community education office on the EWC campus. Interested participants are encouraged to call 307-532-8213 to be added to the call list. Once the final schedule and structure are confirmed, individuals on the list will be contacted directly.

“We’re excited to work with young athletes in our community and help them take their skills to the next level,” coach Engel said. “Whether they’re just getting started or aiming to make the varsity, this program is about growth, confidence and passion for the game.”
