TORRINGTON – A large amount of narcotic type medications was stolen from Community Drug early Wednesday morning. The store is located on West Highway 26/85 in Torrington.
According to Goshen County Under Sheriff Jeremy Wardell, the break-in occurred between 4:15 and 4:45 a.m. “The alarm was set off, and when Torrington Police responded, they found the door open,” Wardell said Wednesday afternoon. A $1,000 reward is offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons who committed the crime. Store owners Jancy and John Walter said they would appreciate it if anyone with helpful information would contact the Goshen County Sheriff’s Office, 307-532-4026.
