KAYCEE – Garrett Cooper and Justice Madayag scored in double-figures in the Lingle-Fort Laramie Doggers’ 55-46 road loss against Kaycee on Friday.
Cooper led the Doggers in scoring, with 15 points. He shot 6-of-8 from the field and added three points from the free-throw line. Cooper chipped in a team-high seven rebounds and two assists. Madayag had 11 points of his own on 5-of-8 shooting, to go along with three rebounds and a team-high five assists.
Ty Mueller, with nine points, Taylor Wagner, with six, and Dallen Fleenor, with five, rounded out the scorers for LFL. The three combined for six rebounds, five assists and four steals. Fleenor and Mueller knocked down the Doggers’ only two three-pointers in the game.
As a team, the Doggers shot 53 percent from the field. They were able to only hit 2-of-7 from behind the arc. LFL was sent to the line only five times, while it sent Kaycee to the charity stripe for 21 shots, where the Buckaroos hit 14.
