TORRINGTON – The Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) Community Band and Choir held its Spring Concert on Sunday.
Gary Glass welcomed the audience to the concert at the EWC Fine Arts Auditorum and directed the community band during the first piece, “Joyant Winds” before joining in at alto saxophone for the second piece, “The Fairest of the Fair.”
The third piece was accurately named “Pop Culture” as Glass said most of the audience would recognize some of the themes played and hinted to one by saying there would be “Scooby Snacks” at the band’s informal reception after the concert.
The piece included the theme songs from “Scooby-Doo,” “Pink Panther,” “The Flintstones” and “James Bond.” Glass also had a solo during the piece while also directing the band.
