TORRINGTON – Torrington Volunteer Fire Department officials announced the cancelation of the 2020 Christmas parade scheduled for Friday in downtown Torrington late Tuesday afternoon.
The TVFD Facebook page indicated the cancelation was due to a lack of entries for the parade.
Torrington City Councilman Bill Law said he believed only the parade was to be canceled, but not the Christmas tree lighting and other events at Tuesday night's Torrington City Council meeting.
